Sarah enjoys her time in Lakeside’s Open Stable Little Horseshoe. The horses are particularly happy here because they are outside so much. When Sarah opens the gate to the paddock, the friendly Haflinger mare comes straight towards her. Sarah gives her a carrot and then puts the saddle on her. She would love to go for a ride today, but the foal is still a bit too young. Later Sarah will put the lead rope on her and get her used to it gradually. Just make sure the gate is locked! Otherwise the little one might bolt if it is startled.
